Nancy wanted her books in this series to have more than just stock photography. She also doesn't consider herself an illustrator so drawing the pictures herself was not her first choice. Using a professional illustrator was missing something too.
Finally, she asked herself, "Who better to illustrate a children's book than children?" That was exactly the perfect fit she was looking for. Not only would each book have something special but it would give children an opportunity to explore possibilities in their own lives.
Each book features artwork from kids around the world. The selection process is done through an art contest. Unfortunately, only thirteen illustrations are necessary for each book but every child who enters deserves special recognition.
